Five Good Things About Fire Stations

18 Sep

woo! woo!

1.) They welcome kids as visitors.  (Not-my-kids often ask to stop by to see the trucks.  Sometimes I worry that we might be a bother, so we make cookies/muffins first, and bring them with us to thank the fire fighters for their work.)

2.) There is almost always water available for pups – and often treats as well.

3.) They provide a vital service to the city.

4.) Without them, fire engines would have to find alternative parking – which would be rough for us all.

5.) Some fire stations will install car seats tighter than you could ever do without professional help.
